Our next symposium is taking place in London on the afternoon of Tuesday March 10th, which is kindly being hosted by Lansons. The overall purpose of this symposium is to shine a bright light onto the most important issues facing the investments sector; and to explore ideas that can improve outcomes for investors, whilst hopefully helping to repair the reputational damage that parts of the investment market have been suffering for years. The main topics we’ll be addressing are: - Regulation, Policymaking and Governance - bearing in mind cases such as Woodford and London Capital & Finance, have the regulators been “asleep at the wheel”? - Costs and Charges transparency – are we there yet? - Brexit - what’s actually going to be the impact once the transition period is over? - The Active/Passive Debate; what does the latest data tell us? - What needs to happen for the investment market to properly and fully price in externalities relating to climate change?
