BAC Securities is currently in the process of establishing BAC Green Energy Fund with focus on renewables and green tech, primarily in CEE (Poland, Romania, Bulgaria) and Western Balkans and opportunistic investments in the surrounding regions. Fund target size is 500-750 mm EUR, Fund life is 7 years with three one-year extensions, expected IRR is close to 20%. Target portfolio envisages 10-15 investment projects /companies. Investment focus is on Poland and Romania as the two core markets in the region Strong local presence and expertise along with good relations with developers results in a constant deal-flow with investment opportunities close to EUR 2 bn. Our focus is mostly on development projects that are close to RTB stage with all environmental and preliminary connection permits in place. BAC has assembled a team of experienced experts in the area green energy, development, M&A project finance, asset management, with complementary skills and long mutual cooperation.
